Ozzy Osbourne’s final months were captured for Home to Roost, a documentary series about his return to the UK after two decades in the US.
The 76-year-old Black Sabbath legend died earlier this week after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
His son Jack revealed the series follows Ozzy and Sharon’s move back to Buckinghamshire and that Ozzy had completed a memoir, Last Rites, set for release in 2025.
In an interview given before Ozzy’s passing, Jack also discussed his role as co-producer on an upcoming biopic focused on the Sabbath era and early 1980s.
“This is by no means going to be a fluff piece,” he said. “Right now we’re going through a rewrite with Craig Borten, who wrote Dallas Buyers Club.”
Ozzy’s death was announced by his family, who said he was “surrounded by love” when he passed.

Lewis Capaldi has opened up about the breaking point that forced him to step away from the spotlight.
Speaking on This Past Weekend with Theo Von, the Scottish singer-songwriter spoke honestly about the “mental episode” that left him “convulsing” backstage during a 2023 concert in Chicago.
While his Glastonbury performance later that year made headlines when he struggled to finish the set, Capaldi revealed that an earlier Chicago incident was “even worse.”
“I couldn’t come back on stage and finish the song,” he told Von. “I was like, backstage, convulsing and having this crazy panic attack, mental episode. It was really, really bad. It was the first time people at my shows had seen it.”
Two months later, at Glastonbury, Capaldi made the tough call to pause his music career.
“When it happened and when it was happening, it was, like, the lowest moment of my life, and it was horrible,” he said. “I had this moment where I was on stage like two, three songs in. I was like, ‘This is the last time I’m going to play a gig for a long time. I need to try and get through the rest of the show, but when I come off, I’m done.’”
Since stepping back, the 28-year-old has dedicated the past two years to therapy and exercise to support his mental health.
Last month, Capaldi made a surprise return to the Glastonbury stage – a moment he called a “bit of a comeback.”
“It was lovely,” he said. “It was a really special moment.”
A new feature documentary, It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley, offers an intimate look at the life and legacy of the gifted singer-songwriter who died in 1997 at just 30.
The film traces Buckley’s meteoric rise and lasting influence, anchored by his only studio album, Grace.
It features never-before-seen footage from his archives, as well as interviews with his mother, Mary Guibert, and former partners Rebecca Moore and Joan Wasser.
Former bandmates and artists like Ben Harper and Aimee Mann also reflect on Buckley’s impact.
Director Amy Berg revealed in a statement that she had pursued the project for nearly two decades. “I first approached Mary, Jeff’s mom, in 2007,” she said. “It seemed like she wanted to work together, but she opted out.”
The filmmaker added, “She wanted to make a scripted film and offered it to me to direct, but after exploring the incredible archive, I knew this was a doc. I couldn’t get Jeff’s final voicemail to his mother out of my mind for years. It made me cry on many occasions as it probably will for you. I reached out to [Mary] every time I finished a film, and she ‘politely’ declined. Until the summer of 2019. My timing was finally right! I can honestly say the euphoria still hasn’t settled.”
It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley opens in theaters on Friday, August 8.
Raging wildfires in Los Angeles have forced 100,000 people to evacuate, with several celebrities among those who’ve lost their homes.
Actors Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Paris Hilton, Anna Faris, and Billy Crystal are among the victims. Hilton shared her heartbreak on Instagram after learning her $10.5 million Malibu home burned down. “While the loss is overwhelming, I’m grateful my family is safe,” she wrote. Crystal, whose six-bedroom home of nearly 50 years was destroyed, said, “Every inch was filled with love. Beautiful memories that can’t be taken away.”
Anthony Hopkins, Mandy Moore, and Eugene Levy also lost their properties. Moore expressed devastation over the fires that “leveled” homes in Altadena, while Levy described the smoke as “intense” before his evacuation.
Four fires are tearing through the Los Angeles area, threatening 28,000 structures and claiming over 1,000. The Palisades Fire has spread rapidly, fueled by dry conditions and winds up to 160 km/h.
Other stars like Chris Pratt, Reese Witherspoon, and Ben Affleck were forced to evacuate. Affleck fled his $20.5 million mansion, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly at risk in Montecito.
Some celebrities, including Ashton Kutcher, have joined firefighting efforts, while others, like Cameron Mathison and Ricki Lake, shared their losses online. “It’s all gone,” Lake wrote, calling her home “heaven on earth.”
Authorities urge residents to conserve water as fire crews battle to save what remains.
Billboard has released their Top 100 Artists of the 21st Century, with Taylor Swift taking out the top spot. And honestly, are any of us surprised?
The music publication have ranked artists based on their performance on the Billboard 200 albums chart and the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart from the start of 2000 through the end of 2024.
Swift achieved 14 #1 albums in the Billboard 200 and 12 songs in the Billboard Hot 100.
The ‘Fortnight’ singer was followed by Drake, Rihanna, Post Malone, and Eminem top make the top five.
Swift has also pulled off 86 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the most of any solo artist.
This ranking, interestingly, follows Billboard’s ranking of Tay Tay as #2 on their list of the Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century, in which they named Beyonce #1.
The full list of artists that have made it into the top 100 can be found here, however is only available to Billboard Pro subscribers.
The Beatles may have declared that ‘Love is all you need,’ but they didn’t write the greatest love song of all time.
That honour, according to TimeOut’s Top 50 Best Love Songs Ever Recorded, goes to Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together.’
Released in 1971, ‘Let’s Stay Together’ is about the highs and lows of love and commitment and resonates with anyone who’s chosen to stick it out through the inevitable trials.
From the article, “The lyrics to the Reverend’s landmark love song, ‘Let’s Stay Together’ articulate the solemn vows of marriage: ‘Whether times are good or bad, happy or sad.’ But sung by Green, these promises are given wings. Covered multiple times since its release, Green’s gorgeous original was given a new lease on life in ’94, when Quentin Tarantino featured it in Pulp Fiction. But our favourite boost for the song has to be when it was sung by Barack Obama at a fundraising event back in 2012.”
Rounding out their top 10 list:
2. Hall & Oates, ‘You Make My Dreams’
3. Jackie Wilson, ‘Higher & Higher (Your Love Keeps Lifting Me)’
4. Frank Ocean, ‘Thinkin’ Bout You’
5. Dolly Parton, ‘I Will Always Love You’
6. Beyonce, ‘All Night’
7. Etta James, ‘At Last’
8. John Legend, ‘All Of Me’
9. The Beatles, ‘Something’
10. Sinead O’Connor, ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’
